I’ve talked about it for a long time, run into many delays along the way, but I finally have found my way around to releasing my DVD on the TI-Nspire! Sticking with the same theme as the my TI-Nspire books, it’s called TI-Nspire Tutorials. Much like the books, I’ve aimed it at beginning to intermediate users of the TI-Nspire. I’m really excited about what users can learn from the DVD. The run time is almost two and half hours and is broken into three parts.
I have to admit this is one of the first reviews I’ve done based on the recommendation of a student. Last spring, one of my students came in completely psyched about a present her parents had given her, Brainetics. I’d never even heard of Brainetics, so she had to get me up to speed. It turns out that Brainetics is a DVD program designed to teach kids how to do complex math mentally.

Day one at the annual NCTM meeting in Indianapolis is in the books. It was definitely challenging to get here as all roads leading to Indy are apparently ripped to shreds right now. It seemed like no matter what Google Maps tried to get me here, I ran into another closed road or on ramp. At one point, I even managed to end up at the Indianapolis airport, which is nowhere near the convention.
