The last month has been exciting for me as a new author. The first week my book, TI-Nspire (TM) Tutorials-How to Dominate Math With the TI-Nspire Graphing Calculator. Volume 1, The TI-Nspire for Beginners, was on the market, it was downloaded over 800 times. At one point, it climbed all the way to #2 on the Education best seller list in the Kindle store. If you haven’t gotten your copy yet, the book is available at Amazon for iPad, iPhone, Android, Kindle, PC, and Mac for just $6.99.

Now, I’ve got the second book in my TI-Nspire Tutorials series out, Using CAS Features Like a Champion. From now through Saturday, August 11, it’s available for just $.99. After that, it’ll be $6.99, just like volume 1.

To celebrate, I’m doing another contest giveaway. This month, I’m giving away a TI-Nspire CX graphing calculator to one lucky winner. You can enter through the Tech Powered Math Facebook page. The TI-Nspire CX, of course, is Texas Instruments’ first full color graphing calculator and is the Nspire on the cover of my new book. You can read my latest review of the TI-Nspire CX here.

A few rules: You must be 18 to win and live in the United States. You can only enter once. You must also be able to accept the prize under the laws of your state. Winner will be selected by random draw among all valid entries. Winner will have 7 days to reply to notification via email with a valid US address. Otherwise a new winner will be selected.
