A former student of mine missed school last Friday and came back with a pretty crazy picture. Apparently, she was in a pretty horrific car accident where her car flipped twice. As you can see in the picture, it wasn’t a pretty picture. Fortunately, she walked away as she had no major injuries, and she only missed a day of school.
I had to chuckle, though, as the first thing she wanted to show me was that her TI-Nspire Touchpad, which had been sitting loose in the car as it went cascading end over end. The hard cover was scratched up, but the calculator itself is in perfect working condition. So while the car was well beyond repair, the TI-Nspire is still chugging along. She gave me her blessing to share with you the story and the pictures that go along with it.
