UPDATE: My TI-Nspire CX CAS review is now up.
Finally, the wait is over. My TI-Nspire CX CAS has arrived from the Bach Company. Tonight I put together a TI-Nspire CX unboxing video. I have to say that I don’t expect the majority of these calculators to arrive this way. Mine arrived packaged in a box, the same way some of our Texas Instruments equipment arrives at school when we make an official educational order. Maybe this is what is meant by the term “transition pack” that some of the retailers are using now. I would expect that it’ll show up in stores encased in the traditional plastic tomb, waiting for you to rescue it.
In any event, I already love what I’m seeing. Of course, I had a chance to play with the Nspire CX at NCTM, but it’s different now that I know I don’t have to give it back in 15 minutes. The TI-Nspire CX CAS display is crisp and clear, beautiful and bright. I will be getting to work on a review as soon as I can, hopefully next week. In the meantime, check out the unboxing video below.
