Back when I did the Math Blaster giveaway, I promised everyone I was going to make an effort to do more contest giveaways. Today, I’m continuing what I hope will become a monthly trend. For the next few weeks, I’ll be accepting entries for a TI-Nspire giveaway. Math4Sale.com, a dealer of refurbished calculators, has generously donated a first generation TI-Nspire clickpad for me to give away to celebrate the roll out of their new site. This TI-Nspire, like all TI-Nspire calculators, can be fully upgrade to the latest Nspire OS. That means when Texas Instruments rolls out OS 3.2 in May, you’ll have the ability to graph conic sections in addition to other recent upgrades like 3D graphing and graphing on photographs.

A few rules: You must be 18 to win and live in the United States. You must also be able to accept the prize under the laws of your state. Winner will be selected by random draw among all valid entries. Winner will have 7 days to reply to notification via email with a valid US address. Otherwise a new winner will be selected. Contest ends April 15, 2012.

You can enter by visiting the entry form on the Tech Powered Math Facebook page. When entering, you must provide a valid email address, or I will have no way to contact you to notify you of winning your prize.

I’d also encourage you to check out the contest sponsor, Math4Sale. Math4Sale sells high quality refurbished calculators at a significant discount over the new cost. Their lineup of graphing calculators includes all of the popular models from Texas Instruments including the TI-73, TI-83, TI-84, TI-Nspire, and TI-Nspire CAS. They sell both individual calculators and classroom sets. Their calculators come with a 30 day money back guarantee and a 90 day warranty.  If you are in the market for a graphing calculator at an affordable price and a quality guarantee, please take a look at Math4Sale.
