After a big break, I’m resuming my series profiling Jason Gibson’s Math Tutor DVD tutoring program. This time, I’ve got information on his Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus DVD’s. This is one of the shorter sets in the series–just two disks and five hours. That said, you’ll find that the topics that give most students problems are covered.

Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus Courses on DVD

Disk one focuses on topics specific to Pre-Calculus, especially numbers and operations that students may not have seen previously. That includes complex numbers as well logarithmic and exponential functions. I will say that some high school and college pre-calculus classes include some topics I don’t see covered here. Check your course syllabus. You may find that you want to also purchase the Algebra II DVD to be sure you get full coverage of your class.

The trigonometry materials are primarily covered on disk two. Pretty much everything from the unit circle to trig graphs is included, so whether you’re looking for trig tutoring as part of a standalone trig class or a larger class (like a pre-calculus that includes trigonometry), you should find everything you need here.

As always, MathTutorDVD.com comes with a money-back guarantee to raise your grade. To get the best price on Jason’s pre-calculus DVD, click here.
